Sugar in a Blood Sugar Supplement: Why Glyco Reset Lists Pure Cane Sugar, and What It Means for You
Yes. Pure cane sugar is one of the six ingredients named on the Glyco Reset brand graphics, and it counts as added sugar (FDA: Added sugars on the label). The amount per serving is not published, because no Supplement Facts panel appears anywhere. It is probably a small amount for taste, but carb counters cannot know for sure.

Is there sugar in Glyco Reset?
Yes, and the brand says so itself. Its "Inside Glyco Reset" graphic shows six tiles, and one of them reads Pure Cane Sugar. That is ordinary table sugar, the same white crystals in your sugar bowl.
Credit where due: the brand did not hide it behind a vague name. The trouble is the next question, how much, and nobody outside the maker can answer it. No serving size, no gram figure and no Supplement Facts panel appear in any photo or on the sales page.
Why would a blood sugar supplement contain sugar?
Most likely for taste. Vinegar is sharp, and citric acid makes it sharper. A little sweetness makes sour drops easier to swallow, the same reason a vinaigrette recipe often calls for a pinch of sugar or honey.
The brand has not said why it is there, so that is our best reading, not a stated fact. Sugar has no role in lowering glucose. It is a flavor choice, and an awkward one for a bottle sold with the words "Supports Healthy Glucose Utilization*" on one label design.
A 60 mL bottle is shared by six ingredients, vinegar and water among them. A dropper serving is small. The sugar in it is probably small too. "Probably" is the honest word, because the figure is not published.
How much sugar is in a serving of Glyco Reset?
Not published. The bars show each named active against its research dose or, for sugar, the daily limit.
For scale, the FDA sets the Daily Value for all added sugars at 50 grams, and the Dietary Guidelines advise keeping added sugars under 10% of daily calories (FDA: Added sugars on the label). The point is not that the sugar is large. The point is that you cannot count it.
What would a Supplement Facts panel tell you about the sugar?
Every U.S. supplement label must carry a Supplement Facts panel with a serving size and servings per container. A proprietary blend must at least show its total weight, with its ingredients listed from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36 (Supplement Facts, proprietary blends)). One Glyco Reset graphic mentions "our proprietary blend", yet no blend weight is shown.
| Question | Where a label answers it | Glyco Reset today |
|---|---|---|
| How big is one serving? | Serving size line | Not published |
| How many servings per bottle? | Servings per container line | Not published |
| How much does the blend weigh? | Blend total weight | Not published |
| Is sugar near the top by weight? | Blend order, most to least | Not published; the graphic order is a layout |
| Is it pure cane sugar? | Ingredient list | Yes, named on the brand graphics |
If your bottle carries a panel, read it before the first dose. Our Glyco Reset label page explains each line, and the missing panel article covers why the gap matters.

Order nowDoes the sugar matter if you count carbs or take insulin?
It matters most for you. Picture a 61-year-old who doses mealtime insulin by counting carbs on every plate. She can count an apple or a slice of toast. She cannot count drops with an unknown sugar figure, so the drops become a small blind spot in her log.
Show the bottle to your doctor first. These medicines can push glucose too low, and a low needs 15 to 20 grams of fast sugar and a recheck in 15 minutes (NIDDK: Low blood glucose). Glyco Reset is not a treatment for a low; use what your care team prescribed.
Keep every prescribed dose as it is when you add drops. NIH is clear that unproven products should not replace diabetes care (NCCIH: Diabetes and dietary supplements).
How can you find out how much sugar is in your bottle?
Read the back of your bottle
If a panel is printed there, it should show the serving size and possibly a sugar figure.
Call the order desk
Ask +1 (302) 200-3480 what one serving holds in mL and how many grams of sugar that includes. Jot the answer on the carton.
Log it for two weeks
Note the drops alongside your usual glucose checks, and bring the log and the bottle to your next visit.
So should the sugar stop you from trying Glyco Reset?
Not on its own. The amount is probably small, and the brand named it openly. The fair complaint is that you cannot count it, and that sugar sits oddly in a product sold for glucose. The other actives have their own gaps: our pure cane sugar profile and the vinegar studies article fill in the rest.

FAQ
Sugar in Glyco Reset: common questions
How many grams of sugar are in Glyco Reset?
That is not published. Pure cane sugar is named on the brand graphics, but no Supplement Facts panel, serving size or gram figure appears in any image or on the sales page. Call the order desk and ask what one serving holds.
Is the cane sugar in Glyco Reset bad for diabetics?
Probably not in a dropper-sized amount, but nobody can say for sure without a figure. If you count carbs or take insulin, the unknown sugar is a gap in your log. Show the bottle to your doctor before the first dose.
Why does Glyco Reset have sugar in it?
The brand does not say. The most likely reason is taste, since vinegar and citric acid are sour. Sugar does not lower glucose, so it is a flavor choice rather than an active ingredient.
Does Glyco Reset count as added sugar?
Yes. Table sugar added to a product counts as added sugar, and the FDA Daily Value for all added sugars is 50 grams a day. A small serving likely uses a small slice of that, but the exact share is not published.
Is there a sugar-free version of Glyco Reset?
None appears in the seller's photos or on the sales page. If you need sugar-free drops, ask the order desk before you buy, or ask your doctor about alternatives.
Can Glyco Reset raise my blood sugar?
Nobody has measured it. The sugar per serving is not published and no study of the product exists. A small serving is unlikely to hold much sugar, but if you test your glucose, note when you take the drops so you can spot any pattern.
